What stays on your Mac

Therapy transcripts are about the most sensitive thing a person can write down. Lucca's whole architecture is built around a simple promise: your sessions stay on your Mac.

Everything happens on your device

Recording, transcription, and every AI insight run locally, on your Mac. Your session content is never sent to a cloud service to be processed — not for transcription, not for analysis, not for chat.

What signing in does

The only thing that touches our servers is signing in, which exists purely to grant you access during the beta. Your transcripts and insights never travel with it.

You're in control

You can export or delete all of your data at any time from Settings → Privacy. Deleting in Lucca means it's gone from your device.
