Things worth knowing

Is Lucca really free for therapists?

Yes. Verified licensed therapists get full Lucca access at no cost, forever — so you can experience it before recommending it. The practice plans are only for sponsoring your clients' seats; they never charge you for your own use.

What counts as a "seat"?

An active client who has accepted your invite. Each plan has a seat minimum (5 for Solo, 25 for Group); above that you add seats one at a time as your caseload grows. A seat frees up the moment a client leaves.

Can I see what my clients record or write?

No — and that's by design. Your dashboard shows only who's enrolled and your billing. Sessions, transcripts, and insights stay private to each client unless they choose to bring a summary to you.

What happens if a client leaves my practice?

Their seat frees up, and they keep all their data on their device. They can continue on a free trial and then an individual plan, or simply stop — nothing is lost.

How does annual billing work?

Pay for the year and get two months free — about 17% off — on any plan, individual or practice.

What if I can't afford it right now?

Then please reach out — we never want cost to be the reason someone can't get more from their therapy. Email hello@meetlucca.com and we'll quietly sort out a way forward, often a few months on us. There's no form to fill out and nothing to prove.

Can my employer cover this?

Often, yes. Many employers reimburse wellness tools through stipends, lifestyle spending accounts, or pre-tax HSA/FSA dollars — and a reimbursement only ever shows a wellness software subscription, never anything about therapy or what you reflect on.
